UFOS

This dress is AWESOME. So kitsch! Silk material with absolutely amazing structured shoulders which fits in with it's futuristic theme. I was uhmming and ahhing whether to go for it and just blow my last £53 on it in an Ebay auction, which would be a bargain really considering it's retail price in the Unique range at Topshop would have been £180. Bargain I tell you. Alas, I would've been broke for the next month and anyway it went for £57 inc. postage so someone just pipped me to the post. Heartbreaking. I will continue to pursuit this dress on Ebay and hope one crops up again! I just thought I'd share the love.

crafty

It's not brilliant but still! I just got a little bored. So I'm sat finding procrastination activities to avoid the dreaded uni work and I'm rooting through my box of clothing I no longer want & I came across this dress, there was a mud stain on the back as a result of festival related drunken activities so it couldn't be sold on ebay, or worn for that matter. Plus it's just a bit shit really. But I didn't want to throw it away, it seemed a waste! So I got a little creative, I always have buttons, beads etcetc lying around so I just thought I'd do a little customizing and the result is this little crop top. I know it's not Topshop quality, my sewing skills are pretty limited, but I still thought I maybe hadn't done half bad?! I'll see what you think. In which case you should click follow so I have more than 2 people on here, I know it's not a popularity contest but come on man, I want more than 2 followers! I might try and bring the sewing up to scratch and maybe sell it, after sporting it on one night out of course in the hope that someone will ask me where I bought it from and I then can respond with "I made it..." in a oh yeah no big deal kind of manner......

@!!!

SO, my exchanged pair of gold pimsols were as shit as the last pair, THEY TOO on the first day of wearing them fell apart, so I had to go back AGAIN for an exchange! FFS.

Anyway I've got some new additions to the wardrobe, 2 new lace leotards, one in peach and the other in black. I love it on the ark website when they're worn under crop tops and stuff, so you don't look a complete hussy baring flesh. Also won a couple of bargains on ebay - a plain white drape top with black buttons down the front by Topshop and a tyedye bodycon dress by Ark, which I don't actually like that much but I thought for £1.41 it was an opportunity not to miss, I'll probably have put it back up on ebay myself by next week lol.

Oh and I'm sure alot more internet shopping shall happen over the next few days, I have cleverly got very drunk and sprained my ankle and so am officially housebound. It's safe to say I am bored as fcuk.

Tara!

costy

So I had a traumatic fashion disaster today. So I'm all excited about my new shiny gold pimsols and I go wandering off to uni in them, and oooh my toes feels a bit nippy, look down, THE ENTIRE SIDE OF MY NEW SHOES HAVE COME APART AT THE SEAMS. Consequently, I then came apart at the seams, had to this kinda naff vintage shop in the student union and thankfully the lady felt sorry for me hobbling along like a knobhead and sold me a pair of little ankle boots at a discounted price of £10. £10 I should not have had to spend. Those boots are now up on ebay, after half a days wear. Pretty pricey pair of shoes for half a day. Grrr. So I went shopping to lift my spirit. Nothing too exciting, a gold eyeliner (you can never have enough gold in your life), denim look dress which I plan on wearing with trashy jewellery and floral tights, an amazing giant flower headband and a plain peach vest top to go with my various highwaisted skirts. Lovely jubbly. So all in all, I paid for a pair of pumps which burst, a replacement pair of boots, and furthermore shopping to get rid of my tizz the bursting shoes put me in. And now I'm £700 down on the rent. Brill!

Elle - March

Good edition of Elle this month! Got a pretty handy highstreet buys booklet with it which have some awesome denim shorts printed with the American flag....I'm not American but I can be if it means I get to wear those shorts! Haha, I'll update this more once I've had a good read of it and give a summary of the best bits. Though that may be in a few days after I've met this dreaded deadline for the 11th March. Analysing 2 of President Obama's speeches, actually maybe purchasing the American flag printed denim shorts might inspire me.....or maybe that's just an excuse to spend money I haven't got. Hmm, I'll have a ponder.

bonjour

OOOH LA LA! J'adore this cute little Paris flippy skirt by Topshop! Once my Alice in Wonderland tshirt has sold on ebay, which will hopefully raise a fair bit, everyone's gone mental for it like Pooh on honey with the forthcoming release on March 5th (this actually includes myself) so this might be in my wardrobe very soon! & I will be very very pleased. You shall be mine Paris flippy skirt, mwahahaha! x

peg legs

So, me and the boyfriend made a random trip to Tesco at midnight last night & I came across a very cute pair of pegleg trousers with militaristic style gold buttons across the waist, I'm going to change them for my own buttons just to make them more Heidi than Tesco brand. They're really cute though, I was so surprised as I don't normally buy supermarket clothes, but these are really cute! When I've customized them a bit with my own buttons I'll add another photo to this blog. Changing the buttons on clothes for some of your own are a really good way of making something more individual. :)

Just for you kitsch lovers, here are my scrabble rings. Don't let little vintage boutiques rip you off, I spotted them in a little shop in Sheffield £5 a piece, however a lack of letters prevented me buying them. So I ebayed them instead and got them for a bargain £2 a piece with only 99p p&p. x

everything that glitters is gold!

I purchased this little beauty in a one off little shop in Leeds today that handmakes all it's clothes. The photo does not do it justice, is beautiful ♥ ! Gold, lace AND sequinned. Could I find a more on-trend trashy piece?! For a bargain £15 as well because the shop was shutting down. I love it! It definitely perked up my day a little bit. I'm thinking body con skirt, some lush heels and some big trashy earrings, ring & bracelet to give it a really funky look. x
